We are experts at developing procedures and environments that foster safe and secure operations. We start by hiring the industry's best drivers. Then, we continually strengthen our drivers' skills and attention to safety through an award-winning training program. However, drivers aren't our only focus on safety. J.B. Hunt's entire culture is embedded with the sense that safety is one of our top priorities.
While it's true we work closely with the appropriate authorities to bring perpetrators to justice, if you are a victim of a scam, we strongly encourage you to contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at www.ftc.gov or call 1-877-FTC-HELP. You can also call the Consumer Fraud Division of your state's Attorney General's office or report fraud or theft directly to J.B. Hunt.
To date, J.B. Hunt has been contacted by approximately 300 people who have received a letter indicating they are the recipients of an unclaimed settlement tied to J.B. Hunt. The letter states the recipient must pay a "processing fee" before the funds (usually several thousands of dollars) will be released. While the letter itself makes no direct reference to J.B. Hunt, an enclosed check presented as being able to cover the processing fee has our company logo and a forged signature. Instructions within the letter tell the recipient to contact an agent before cashing the check. If you have received such a letter, do not call the number listed. Instead, please call J.B. Hunt's hotline at 1-800-433-0944 or mail all documentation to J.B. Hunt Corporate Security, P.O. Box 130, Lowell, AR 72745.
